Terms of Service
Honest terms, no small print tricks.

What this service is
Appeal Helper provides practical, one-to-one support with benefit claims, assessments, complaints and appeals — including help with paperwork, evidence gathering, letter drafting and preparation for hearings.
What this service is not
I am an independent support worker, not a solicitor or regulated legal adviser. The help I provide is practical guidance and case preparation, not legal advice. If your case needs regulated legal representation, I will tell you honestly and help you find it.
No outcome is ever guaranteed
Benefit decisions are made by the DWP, assessment providers and independent tribunals — not by me. I will always work hard to give your case the best possible chance, but I cannot promise a particular result. I will always be honest with you about the strength of your case.
Fees and quotes
Fees depend on the work involved, so fixed prices are not published. Before any chargeable work begins, you will receive a clear written quote. You are free to decline, with no obligation and no pressure. Any fees agreed will be confirmed in writing before work starts.
Bookings and cancellations
Booking requests made through this website are requests, not confirmed appointments, until I confirm them with you directly. If you need to change or cancel a confirmed appointment, please give as much notice as you can.
Your responsibilities
To help you properly, I rely on the information you give being accurate and complete. Please tell me about deadlines as early as possible — some appeal time limits are strict and missing them can affect your case.
Confidentiality
Everything you share is treated in confidence, as described in the privacy statement. Your information is never used for any purpose other than helping you.
Changes to these terms
